Paphos is a city on the southwest shoreline of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Occupied since Neolithic occasions, it has a few destinations identifying with the religion of goddess Aphrodite, whose legendary origin was at Old Paphos (Kouklia). New Paphos is the advanced city that joins the harbor, and the antiquated remains of tombs, strongholds, theaters, and manors at Paphos Archeological Park.
