Larnaca

Larnaca (Larnaka) is a port city on the south shore of Cyprus. It's known for Finikoudes Beach, a sandy strip in the downtown area sponsored by a palm-lined ocean side promenade. Humming bars line the waterfront at Mackenzie Beach. Simply seaward, the MS Zenobia wreck is a famous plunge site. The ninth-century Church of Saint Lazarus contains the tomb of the holy person said to have become alive once again.

Neglecting the Mediterranean, the medieval stronghold of Larnaca Castle fills in as an outside theater and neighborhood history historical center. It shows old weapons, early Christian ancient rarities, and Ottoman ceramics. The Pierides Museum has an immense assortment of paleontology displays going back to Neolithic occasions. Kyriazis Medical Museum graphs the improvement of Cypriot medication from medieval careful instruments to early X-beam machines. Larnaca Salt Lake is surrounded by nature trails and populated by groups of flamingoes. On its west shore, the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque holds the tomb of Umm Haram, a hallowed female Islamic figure.
